Hey there VGP! I ordered a Nintendo RGB Bypass Amp (Revision 4.1b-VGP) from here and during installation of the mod I managed to knock off component C10 from the board (don’t ask me how) and I couldn’t save it because it just broke apart when I tried to solder it back to the board.

Now my question is can I replace that C10 with something? I would need the specs for that component if anyone knows?

Also when that component came loose the whole mod board doesn’t give me sync at all… I assume this is how it should be?

I’ll answer these myself after some research: The sync issue had nothing to do with knocking the C10 off… That thing is rate 47pf 50V 5% tolerance according to the schematics I found on Borti’s github. It’s also as far I’ve understood not mandatory to be on the board so I started figuring out the sync issue. I just needed to jumper J3 on the board (also did J2) and it works! Super clean RGB and everything seems to work as expected! Kinda weird it doesn’t say anywhere in the installation instructions you NEED to close the J3 for sync to work… or maybe I just missed that part. Happy though that my SFC Jr. works now and has amazing video quality! 🙂

Thanks for letting us know and sorry nobody replied until now. Jumper J2 and J3 is documented on the product page and under key points though we appreciate the documentation is not the best!
