      Using HD Retrovision YPbPr cables I can’t get any picture in line double mode on a sony bravia kdl 26l4000, which is admittedly an old budget tv that needs replacing​. Curiously it works via pass through mode, despite analog inputs not accepting a 240p signal.

      Are there any settings to check out first or am I SOL until I replace the TV with something… not a decade old?

        Have you tried an RGB cable?

          Unfortunately don’t have RGB cables at the moment.

          Anyway, kinda solved the problem: received the DVDO Edge I bought and after a firmware update it worked just fine.

            If you get an RGB cable let me know if it makes a difference, older TVs should be more compatible not less.
