      Hello!

I’ve recently fried my OSSC (version 1.6) – I believe by inadvertently by plugging in the incorrect power source (12V).

Afterwards, it is not functioning properly. Upon turning it on (with the correct proper power source this time), the LED flashes just for a moment, and the status LED has a short blink once every second or two.

After reading several other threads here and here.

I’ve tested continuity between U5-16 & ground, for all u5-16, each leg on the 3 sides seems to be connected to ground. For ground I used the side of the power adapter (which is positive center).

I don’t feel super confident in my methodology so I wanted to share steps I had taken to make sure I’m not missing something. Based on other threads and what I’m seeing, it appears likely that U5 and U6 need to be replaced.

If there are other things I should look at or if I’ve made a mistake, I would greatly appreciate getting pointed in the right direction.

      Thank you!

When you say each side seems to be connected to ground, do you mean all 3 legs?

Correct, all 3 legs. If that doesn’t make sense it’s very much possible I’m just doing something wrong.
