A couple days ago, I found out through Voultar about a mod for OSSC units from 1.7 and lower that allows firmwares. I dug out my old OSSC 1.6 unit from 2019, and did the mod. It was a success, as it still worked as it should, and I got to update it to 1.09.
But when I got to testing the unit with an RGB SCART source, that’s when I started encountering issues I never had with my unit before. All my consoles display a screen with yellow tint! Whether it’s my MiSTer, Sega Genesis or PS2, they all had the same issue. They work woth no issues on my CRT, so I know there’s nothing wrong with the cables themselves. I didn’t test right before modding, so I can’t say if the mod caused it or if there’s something else that did. But I doubt it’s the fault of the mod.
I tried reflowing the RGB SCART input and also to make sure the points I performed the wire mod on to no avail, and I’m out of options.
Any suggestions to how I can solve my issue?
