      Hi,

I have a premade OSSC 1.8 (not from here sadly), I recently used an HDMI > VGA adaptor on it and stupidly applied the USB power to it whilst connected, it damaged the OSSC and sadly and more costly the CRT it was attached to, so there must have been a hefty power surge of some kind. The OSSC works on my TVs and my OLED monitor, but not on my older HDMI monitors, so some part of the DDC might be toast? F2 has continuity… I’m a bit of a have a go hero when it comes to electrical engineering, but I’m far from an expert, it’s a very tiny board too, I’m worried IT6613E is partly damaged, is there anything you guys can suggest?

EDIT: 5v is getting to line 18 on the HDMI port.

      Thanks

OSSC doesn’t use the DDC signals, but the display could still monitor if they are pulled up. You could check the voltage on them if you are concerned about IT6613E having got damaged (and possibly internally shorting them to GND).
