I recently purchased my first Sega Genesis Model 1. I cleaned it up, and decided to invest in a set of HD Retrovision’s component cables. As their website warned, and as I confirmed by attempting to hook it up, my AVerMedia C027 internal capture card does not appear to be compatible with displaying 240p resolution over component. Although, it detects the composite signal just fine.
My Question
Would anybody be able to confirm whether the OSSC (Open Source Scan Converter) will allow my capture card to detect and display the 240p image after passing it through the line-doubling (480p) or line-tripling (720p) feature?
