      So, I’m using my OSSC with my Wii, properly tuned with 240p test suite. It’s in 480p mode and the h.active is 720 and the v.active is 480. Even with changing h.backporch and v.backporch, the image still has black bars vertically and horizontally no matter what i do. Is it my TV? I’m at my wits end. Please help.

        I’m linedoubling and using upsample 2x

          If you switch line double mode off does it still do it?

          It’s probably your TV thinks 960p should always be 4:3.
