When I turn on the OSSC after it has had no power for a few hours everything seems fine, the display shows firmware version and dates + creator. But when I connect a console (doesn’t matter what console) the display briefly shows the resolution and other data, but then after a while it either shows garbled text or far more often nothing at all. The video and audio output do keep working during all this.

Using the remote does not reactivate the text, neither does turning it off. I have to turn off the power for a while (more than a few minutes) for it to show the normal text again when I turn it on.

Is anybody else seeing this? Any advice on what to do?

Using the new 1.6 version received in september.

That’s not normal at all, I’m afraid that might call for an RMA. E-mail in using the contact form, https://videogameperfection.com/contact-us/ and I’ll sort it.

Yesterday I had the same experience. OSSC was blinking mad and no signal. I had to turn it off to fix it.
If it does it again I will report here. Mine is 1.6 version too.
