      Hi guys!

So I bought a faulty OSSC with the intention of repairing it and thought that it would be a good place to learn because schematics are available, and I can learn to read them. It would turn on, but would either show scrambled text, or just have a blank screen.

After taking it apart, I quite quickly found out that U6 wasnt outputting the correct voltage and was getting quite warm, so I replaced that and received an image on the display! However, I get no image on my TV, no test pattern, nothing. I did notice that the input settings seemed to change resolution and hz, but that was it. I have also noticed that sometimes the display will go blank. Is there anything else I should look out for?

      Thanks in advance!

There’s a fair chance that IT6613 (U8) has been damaged if the unit has been powered with incorrect PSU (DDC lines connected to 5V via pull-ups). To check that, you could scope its supplies and key input signals (PCLK, HSYNC, VSYNC, DE) and verify they are OK.
