      Hello.

I may be the first one who noticed it, so I’ll share it with you 😀
I own a pal FRA N64. A friend of mine modded it to output RGB.
Unfortunately, when you plug the scart cable into your TV, there are some issues with imported games as described in this video.

I tested it with the following games Star Soldier US – Eiko no Saint Andrews JAP – Pocket Monsters Stadium JAP – Polaris Snocross US all using a passport plus III. You notice it most on the main menu and on the title screen.

But when using the games with the OSSC, all the sync problem seems to disappear.

Can you confirm that it does fix the problem on your setup too?
I would also like to know if other upscalers ( framemeister or the cheap ones) give the same result.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day.

That guy in the video needs to learn where the 4:3 button is 🙂

Seriously though I’m surprised it fixed it. I would put the error shown in the video down to the off-spec refresh if PAL games work fine on the same TV and console. OSSC can do nothing about this. On the Framemeister it can be fixed if you can put up with the occasional bit of stutter.

I can confirm that PAL games work fine on the European flat screen TVs I have at home.
I tested on several models and wad able to reproduce the sync problem on all the TVs when playing imported games with the passport plus III.
          I’m glad I purchased the OSSC 😀
