      My ossc has been great, but now the screen is almost impossible to read. Is there something I can do to fix this?

        The LCD on the OSSC is an off the shelf component – Newhaven Display NHD-C0216CZ-FSW-FBW-3V3. If you purchased your OSSC from us we can replace it for you, this will be free if it is inside the warranty period, or you can simply purchase the part and replace it yourself if you are confident with a soldering iron.

          It’s out of the warranty period. I guess I will have to replace it by hand.

            Outside of warranty we can carry out the work for you if you’re in an EU country.

              How hard is it to replace the display?  It’s a little difficult to tell if it’s through-hole or not.

                Ok I just noticed that if I put a little pressure on the screen it works fine.  Is this something I can fix?  Is it a loose joint?  Can I send it in for repair?

                  That should be something we could repair for you fairly easily, yes.
