So my OSSC works perfectly for most things, but for some reason, TV’s lose sync with it after a few minutes when 1080i is being used by a console. I noticed this with my original Xbox a long time ago, but now that my PS2 is doing the same thing, I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I was using YPbPr with component cables for the Xbox and for PS2, I’m using an RGB SCART cable with RGsB. It works perfectly for about 10 minutes then the screen will start going black and returning to normal before just vanishing completely and the TV will report no signal. This has happened with 2 different TV’s, so my TV isn’t the problem. The light on the OSSC stays green while this is happening, so I’m really not sure what’s going on.

Once I lose signal, toggling the OSSC off and on again seems to be the only way to make it work again, but it seems that the longer I leave the OSSC off for, the longer it will work for once I switch it back on. As weird as this is, does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

Are you using passthru or a bob?

It’s on Bob, but on passthrough it seems to have a lot of input lag despite looking much better.

Does the drop-out still happen in pass thru mode?

No, it’s actually fine in passthrough for some reason aside from the input lag.

Are you using the PSU supplied by us?

I’m not because there was none in stock at the time when I purchased the OSSC. I want to actually order one from you but I just forgot all about it.

EDIT: I just tried 3 different PSU’s there. A 2A and a 1.5A. Even with those it just starts cutting out and loses signal within 5 minutes. The 1.5A one is a PS Vita charger and not a cheaply made ebay one.
