      Apologies if this has been asked hundreds of times.

      I just bought a ossc it’s 1.6 model with hdmi, updated recently to latest 0.88a firmware, I simply get no sound.

      Setup is straight forward either PS2 or Dreamcast scart into the ossc and hdmi to TV,

      I checked the tx settings and that was correct and set to hdmi RGB

      I don’t have a 3.5m jack on TV but when I plug headphones into the 3.5m jack I get sound playing.

      I have swapped over the hdmi cable as well.

      Any ideas to help?

        Could you try a different TV?

          Could be a solder issue I guess on the contacts to audio chip. But I don’t know how one would check that. You can always return it if it’s on warranty still.

            Have already tried another TV and same issue no audio.

              Sadly it was bought 2nd hand so no warranty

                Did you verify it is a 1.6 model (in case the previous owner was mistaken)?

                  Def 1.6 older versions didn’t have hdmi model did they? Sticker on bottom of the device itself says 1.6 as well.

                    Oh right, I mixed up when they switched from DVI-D, sorry.
