Bratbatdeath.Hi y have some trouble with the new update and the sound in my capture card, im using a El Gato 4k MK2 Capture Card, and before the new update works all fine, but after the 0,76 update sometimes the audio doesn’t play only in the capture card, but in the TV works fine, anyone have this problem, ought back to the previous firmware or have any FIX?
There should be audio related changes in v0.76. Does the issue still persist with v0.77?
The issue is partially fix in 0.77 but still sometimes when the ossc change resolutions the audio bug happens, y have to turn off the ossc pro and back on, to fix the audio not working on my capture card. In 0.76 happen every time and y had to reboot the ossc pro, in 0.77 is likely more uncommon, but sometimes still happens.
Y ask for help again in this issue, 0.78 and still having the sound problem with my ElGato GameCapture 4k MK2, anyone more having the issue?
Both the audio and audio metadata are sent out continuosly so the card should be able to restore audio after any interruption. It’s possible to add compatibility option for a longer HDMI handshake when a mode is changed which might help, though. Meanwhile, I’d recommend also to try to report the issue to Elgato support.
The issue is report to ElGato a while ago, basically the answer they gave me was that it is an unknown device for them and that I should contact the manufacturer of the device.
