If a custom scaling filter contains two separate lists of 64 coefficients, one for horizontal and one for vertical, only the first set will be read and used for both axes.

This means it’s not possible to create custom filters with different horizontal and vertical frequency response, or filters with integrated scanlines.

I also have a suggestion for supporting custom 5- or 7-tap downscaling polyphase filters to create smoother downscaling in generic modes as well as allow simulation of limited bandwidth.

Edit: I’ve realized that the MISTer filters have separate files for horizontal and vertical coefficients, so the above is not actually a bug at all but as it turns out, only a feature request for the OSSC Pro to support custom filters with separate files for horizontal and vertical coefficients. 😀

Fw 0.76 now allows loading different set of custom cofficients for X and Y interpolation (via 2 separate coefficient files referenced in a config file).
