Let’s wait if new reports from the same issue are received to understand how isolated the issue truly is.
After updating to 0.79, the OSSC Pro corrupted the file system on the microSD card making it appear empty.
I reformatted the card with the SD Association’s official tool, but the OSSC Pro still causes corruption when attempting to save a profile. After an attempted save, the slot may still show as empty in the save menu, or it might list the saved profile but produce an error upon trying to reload it (-6 if I recall correctly.) After that, checking the card’s file system may show garbage files and/or folders.
I then reverted to 0.78 and the problem seems to have gone away.
Both firmware installs worked without causing any other issues and took a normal amount of time (about 25 seconds.)
The microSD card I’m using is a SanDisk Ultra 32 GB, fully formatted with the SD Association’s official tool. It’s not presented any problems before with the OSSC Pro. I’ll try another microSD card of the same type and see if I can get replicate the issue with another make and model microSD card.
Edit: After reformatting the card again with the official tool and reinstalling v0.79, the OSSC Pro seems to be working fine with loading and saving profiles. It did not, however, delete the update file from the fw folder.
Hey Marqs,
After updating to firmware version 0.79, OSSC PRO cannot obtain video signals from any input interface.
I thought I had encountered the same problem as others, so I flashed the firmware back to version 0.78, but the issue still persists, causing my OSSC PRO to be currently in an unusable state.
My OSSC PRO was purchased last month with a new version featuring a golden logo, TAT。。。。
