Hi all, I’ve been able to stream lately using the iPad Pro Apple silicon recently added streaming features.
While I have zero problems using a CPS3 modded with the CPS DigiAV HDMI mod or even the OSSC Classic, I’m always unsuccessful when trying to use the OSSC Pro Lite and Retroupgrades’ VGA SCART Sync. In case anyone was wondering, I stream arcade hardware, the latter is required for platforms that can output VGA as the OSSC Pro Lite and the Retrotink 5x lack VGA input.
The main issue here is that there isn’t any sound being output when a Sega NAOMI is hooked up. I always thought this could be an issue with my RCA cables but I don’t think it is since they work fine with the OSSC Classic. It’s been awhile since I last tested it but I had confidence in this setup because I was successful with using it for the Atomiswave. But even though the NAOMI is similar to an Atomiswave, they still technically difference pieces of hardware since the Atomiswave is just a cartridge Dreamcast with JAMMA parts.
I will need to test the Atomiswave again but I’m looking for solutions without having to buy additional hardware right now.
Here’s some demos:
OSSC Pro Lite – https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2208072927 no sound
OSSC Classic – https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2208256173 Using default settings because I didn’t get it setup in time for my event later that day. I forget if this was even 2x or just pass through, and it’s unfortunately not 4:3 like that crisp OSSC Pro Lite image.
I also noticed that my streaming setup and twitch did receive audio from the OSSC pro lite but nothing was coming out. I was also wondering if it was because of the conflicting bitrates for audio, with the scaler sending 24bit audio but stream setup looking for 32bit audio? Though this probably isn’t the issue since CPS DigiAV and OSSC Classic do not have this issue. I can post a pic of this later as I need to upload it to be more clear.

Any help or suggestions would be fine too!
