OSSC PRO – multiple issues

Hi,

I got the OSSC PRO(firmware v. 0.77) yesterday and have a lot of issues.

1. A status window pops up every few minutes on a screen. No matter what is an input source: PS1, PS2(component and scart), Amiga 600. It is annoying.
2. An OSD status disp. changes from off to on automatically after a few minutes.
3. After a few minutes of playing on PS2(480p) in the adaptive mode an image disappears from a screen, OLED shows no sync, I have to choose the same input one more time on the remote, then the image comes back.
4. LEDs off when I use scale mode with integer scalling during play on PS2, the remote stops work and I have to unplug a power supply.

I also have a classic OSSC and there is no issues.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a defective board. You could try previous fw version, but most likely you’ll need to RMA the unit.

The board seems to work correctly with firmware v0.76 – the remote controller works, LEDs light, no sync issue(no status window on the screen). The RMA was done. Thank you for your reply.

A couple boards have had startup issues with v0.77 for yet unknown reason. If the previous fw has none of the issues mentioned, then maybe you might consider holding the board for a bit longer to see if there will be a firmware fix for this.
