      Hello,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with my OSSC Pro related to standby and wake-up behavior.

When I press the power button on the remote, the OSSC shuts down but does not show the usual red LED to indicate standby mode. At that point:

      • The device does not respond to the remote or to pressing the control stick.
      • I can only force a reset by unplugging and replugging the power supply. Interestingly, if I leave the OSSC plugged overnight, the red standby LED works again the next morning.
      • This issue seems to occur mostly when I’m scaling from 1080p to 1440p (AV4 HDMI source). I haven’t reproduced it (yet?) when using the scaler or line multiplier mode from lower resolutions like 480p.

      What I tried:

      • I initially suspected a temperature issue and installed the recommended 40mm Noctua fan, but this hasn’t resolved the problem.
      • I also tried resetting the profile to default settings, but the issue persists.

Here are a few additional details that might help:

      • Firmware version: 0.78 (but I had the same issue with 0.77)
      • Power supply model/specifications: Multi-region PSU, purchased with the OSSC Pro
      • Signal source in use when the issue occurs: AV4 HDMI, 1080p input, 1440p output

Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this issue, or is this a known problem with certain setups or firmware versions?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Definitely not a known issue, not one I’ve run into at all. We may have to RMA this unit and swap it for another one for you.
