      Dear all,

This is my first post. I recently bought my OSSC Pro to replace my dying CRT, and to my surprise (I didn’t do my research properly), it won’t work with my stock N64.

To fix that, I spent more money on the S-video add-on (this time after ensuring it would be possible to use different sound sources with different video inputs).

The point is, I am struggling. I struggled with the OSSC configuration initially, but I am now discouraged that the sound will not work with the EXT input.

Is there any solution, or have I wasted money? I would like to keep my games as stock as possible.

Sorry if this subject has already been addressed. My lack of knowledge about the OSSC Pro limits my search for a proper answer.

      Thanks.

You’re connecting the audio to the AV2 RCA inputs on the OSSC Pro, correct?

          Hi Bucko..

Thanks for answering.  I’m actually connecting to the correct ports. In fact it was a cable problem that I just figured out now. I swapped them and now it’s working fine.

          Thanks again.

By the way. Since I’m here. Where can I find the best settings for the n64? In a dummie/stupid user kind of guide?

No special settings should be required for N64 unless you wish to dial in optimal timings (https://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php?title=Optimal_timings)
