      Hello,
I’m trying to output 540p to my HDCRT, but the resulting image scrolls slowly upwards. Any suggesting on how to fix this?

      Setup details:
1920×540 test pattern > HDMI OUT > HDMI to Component converter (passive) > Component IN on Sony KD34XS955. HDPT has been disabled on the TV as well to stop any digital processing.

The position of the OSSC Pro’s menu show’s the scrolling effect. Other than that, the image looks fine

Do other typical modes work, and is there any reports the TV should support 540p? Perhaps some of the display timings (from output opt.) need to be adjusted.

Yes, other modes like 480p and 1080i work just fine. I’m not 100% positive that the set is compatible with 540p, but I’m on a journey to find out. From what I’ve read online, 540p is hit or miss with these HD Sony sets. Some of them are missing a specific logic board that allows you to toggle digital processing, but I know that mine has that logic board so I’m hopeful. I did mess around with the display timings settings but I don’t know what I’m doing tbh. I was able to make the scroll effect faster and also reverse the direction of the scroll, but I couldn’t get the image to stay still. I’m going to try updating my OSSC Pro to the latest firmware. I also ended up ordering the Extra AV out expansion card to use instead of my current HDMI-to-YPbPr adapter to see if it gives a better result.

This was resolved with the Extra AV expansion card. The issue must have been introduced by the HDMI to YPbPr adapter I was using initially.
