OSSC Pro with legacy A/V in expansion as a capture device?

      From what I understand, the plan is for the CVBS and Y/C expansion board to use the ADV7280 for conversion.

      When I saw the following video from VWestlife about the drawbacks of one of the most popular AV capture solutions for CVBS and its horrible performance, something dawned on me.

      As the ADV7280 has a built-in line TBC, allowing that to be enabled might make the OSSC Pro with the legacy A/V input expansion a perfectly cromulent solution for capture when used along an HDMI capture device. Of course it won’t make the OSSC Pro the go-to solution for digitzing old video as there are other solutions for the same total price, but it would make for an excellent solution to those already in possession of the OSSC Pro, the extension, and an HDMI capture card.

      Using the OSSC Pro with a legacy A/V extension to both play retro games and converting old VHS tapes to digital with good results as a bonus thanks to an already existing feature? It might be madness, but madness is what drives innovation! And fun.

      Please let us enable the TBC in the ADV7280 when the legacy A/V extension comes out. 🙂
