OSSC R36 question

      As I did the mod I dropped the R36 331 resistor. Do I need it? If I do which one do I need. When I Google it a whole bunch with different specs pop up.

        It’s a 330 Ohm resistor, 0603 package size.

        It is needed by the red LED. So you only have to keep it, if you are planning on restoring the functionality of the red LED… either by reverting back to any pre 1.xx firmware, or by keeping the 1.xx firmware and doing a more difficult mod:

        OSSC v1.xx series beta firmware

        Otherwise you don’t need the resistor!
