      Hey OSSC People,

      Instead of having to go with yet another remote, Is there a universal code that I can try . I have a scientific atlanta cable box , What manufacturer should I try as a remote code?

        NEC generally, if it’s available.

        Have a look here – http://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php/OSSC#Remote_control_setup There’s documentation for setting up a number of programmable remotes and prontoHEX codes for remotes compatible with that.

          the Toshiba codes work rather well with the device. awesome work.

            Yea agreed toshiba codes work awesome, I have a harmony 510 remote and could not get the NEC codes to work completely. Then I decided to give a shot to use my toshiba tv that I already had programmed in there and it worked perfect! Now all I have left is to find a working micro SD card that works for firmware update :).
