marqs.I just bought addition remote control to my OSSC v1.6 (as a backup) and it does not work. Red led is blinking in remote control, green led is OSSC reacts when some button is pressed — but nothing more. The old remote control works like a charm. Definitely OSSC is recording signals from new remote control but there is no further action.
Did you buy both the OSSC and the remote control from us?
Also make sure you’re using OSSC profile of the remote (press TV-button) – the other profiles are for OSSC Pro and Framemeister.
No, I just bought remote from you. But my OSSC is using general firmware.
@marqs — that is what I’m doing. Did not you encounter situation when green light is blinking (OSSC confirms reception of signal and nothing else is happening.
Not sure what you mean by general firmware, but I understood both your original remote and ossc are from elsewhere. In that case it might be that they are configured for different IR codes. Green light blinking just means OSSC detects a NEC format IR keycode (which is not necessarily mapped to any function).
You can still copy codes into the new remote as it’s a learning remote, or re-bind OSSC for the new remote in case your original gets lost.
