I finally have my OSSC v1.6 and grabbed my Sega Dreamcast with it’s cheap “DC VGA Cable”. HDMI to an old Pioneer PDP-506P running through a Yamaha RX-V377 amp.

I’ve used both DTV 480p & VESA 640×480@60 modes. (Sampling opt -> 480p in sampler).

How do I change the V.size on the OSSC so the image fits on the screen?

      OSSC v1.6 fw 0.81a
      Thanks.

You need to change the zoom setting on your TV. It looks like it is zooming to 16:9 letterbox now.

haha. Thanks, I was thinking it was going to be more complicated. This is a Japanese TV and I’m using a Logitech remote to control it.

The bad news is, the TV keeps changing back to the zoom view. I’ll keep playing.

Set to Dtv for dreamcast. Also try the settings noted at the end of this article: https://videogameperfection.com/2017/11/14/revisiting-480px2-changer/

It may help the TV not default to 16:9.

Thanks. I did try those settings in the post you mentioned but my TV didn’t recognise the signal. I’ve read a lot of posts recommending DTV however, from my limited testing on one TV VESA 640×480@60 appears to give me better visual results.
