      Hi all,

Tinkering with my OSSC I don’t seem to be able to improve a 800×600 or 1024×768 resolution from a Windows 98 desktop. I cannot find scaling options which are making a difference.

I suppose this is because 800×600 or 1024×768 are “good enough” and don’t need to be scaled? Is my understanding correct?

In other words, am I supposed to be able to display something better than the attached? It’s not bad, just wondering if there is a way to improve on that.

Also, besides re-sizing in OBS, is there a quick way with OSSC to change between 4:3 and 16:9?

      Thank you!

(I can’t seem to be able to upload a picture here so I’m linking them instead)

Optimizing OSSC (Open Source Scan Converter) settings for Windows VGA ensures optimal video output. Fine-tuning resolution and refresh rates enhances image clarity, making it an essential tweak for gamers and content creators seeking the best visual experience with their retro gaming consoles.
