      Hi,

Ive just acquired an OSSC to upgrade my retro console use and am working my way through them to get the right setups, so more queries will be on the way!.
For now the only console that works is the Game cube, so the OSSC seems to be functioning fine.

So the first offender is my PAL Snes:

      * OSSC 1.6 v0.88a, test screen displays when powered on
      * UK PAL Model: SNSP-001A – no mods
      * RGC Packapunch RGB scart cable
      * Console connected directly to OSSC
      * Sony KDL-40WE5, OSSC connected directly
      * Red led is on, display shows AV1 NO SYNC

Bypassing OSSC this cable performs correctly.

Im assuming as per your site that as this is a PAL console the de-jitter mod is not required/applicable?

Any settings I can try, report back on ?

      Cheers, Neil

No that’s very strange, try increasing Hsync tolerance and increase H-PLL Pre-Coast and post coast both to 4 (all under sync opt).

But, I’ve not known this to be necessary for SNES in the past.

Ok, thanks for this, will give these a try, cable is sync on luma type FYI

Failing this I’ll try someone else’s tv, this is a fairly old model.

It can’t be the TV if OSSC itself is saying NO SYNC.
