Dear all,
I´m using OSSC (firmware 1.09) to connect my Amiga500 using an RGB-to-SCART cable (https://www.retro-kabel.de/p/amiga-monitor-tv-scartkabel-rgb-high-quality) through AV1 RGBS to my monitor (ASUS ProArt PA248QV).
Unfortunately the picture on the monitor is very dark. I played around with the monitor settings, increased brightness to the max etc. but it didn´t really help.
Does anyone have an idea, if there are any settings within OSSC that I could try to tweak?
Best regards,
Tobias
Do you have means to test the Amiga on another display and/or without the OSSC? We need to figure out if this is a problem with the monitor, the cable, the Amiga or the OSSC, but there is not any issue with OSSC and Amiga screen brightness that I’m aware of.
Unfortunately I don´t have any other possibility to test this.
However I´m using the same monitor to connect my C64 using OSSC + Koryuu and here I don´t have the problem of too dark picture.
So I´d rule out the monitor at least.
Is there any OSSC setting/parameter that you could perhaps recommend to twiddle around with? I´m using the Passthru mode.
I´ve just updated firmware to 1.10, but no difference.
