      I’ve got a retrotink 2x pro v1.2 which I have been using for a few years without issue. I’ve used it with my C64/Vic20/Spectrum connected via the composite connection.

      Tonight it suddenly stopped working.

      The bright yellow LED is on and there is also a green/yellow LED on the PCB which is also on (power indicator?)

      It’s not displaying anything on the LCD connected via hdmi.

      Is there any debugging I can do or some factory reset which will fix this? I hope it’s not completed destroyed.

      I’ve also tried reflashing the latest firmware and it was successful but made no difference.

      I’ve tested the LCD and it’s working so its pointing to something on the retrotink 🙁

      Update: After some fiddling I kind of got it working. If I hold in the filter button and power on the white LED flashes and then it works. Very odd.
      If I power off and on again it stops working until I repeat the power on with filter depressed procedure.

        It sounds like you’re putting the device into DVI mode, which would possibly suggest a problem with the HDMI transmitter. In this mode you will not get any sound.

          Thanks for the info. Yes, this is the issue. Wondered why there was no sound.

          Guess it’s probably not fixable. I will have to save up for another device or look for some other alternative.
