Hey! I have a vintage Sony Saticon camcorder with RGB output over BNC + TTL Sync + Composite video outputs from the camera control unit. I’m hoping to find a solution to convert the RGB to HDMI. I was successfully able to get it converted to VGA using a sync separator and the levels look decent albeit not quite to spec (I was able to tweak some pots inside the camera control unit to boost levels a bit). I‘ve picked up an OSSC to see if it will work in this application.

Upon seeing the availability of TTL Sync on AV3 I tried that but the device syncs at “262p” or sometimes “263p”. I noticed the mention of an interlacing hack for AV3 to work around the TVP7002 issue; where are the details for that?

I also have a SCART breakout cable but it seems to be the wrong pinout on sync; is it easier to just use the SCART to parse the sync out of the composite video if that’s an option as opposed to trying to finagle interlaced TTL sync?

Ok fixed my SCART cable and the input works fine. The result from AV3 with TTL sync was epilepsy inducing.
