      Hi everyone.

So I recently purchased a Model 1 Sega Genesis that’s in amazing condition that I wanted to use with my OSSC. Now, every console that I’ve thrown at it so far (PS1/PS2/Wii/SNES) has had no issues, however with the Genesis, I’m just getting a black screen. It will sync, show the sync info on the OSSC screen but it’s a black screen on my monitor. I’ve tried FireBrandX’s optimal timings. I’ve tried passthru/2x/3x/4x, pretty much adjusting every output setting and it’s still a black screen.

The SCART cable I bought for it came from Insurrection Industries so it’s not a cheap cable. I’ve tried 3 different games as well.

      Any thoughts?

      Thanks!

EDIT: Ok that’s weird, Plugged it back in after checking the internals for issues, plugged all the cables back in and then booted on and then it worked?

Possibly the cartridge slot on the machine then?

Were you using scart cables? I’m having the same issue
