      Just after a little guidance on getting the best model to use with the OSSC. In the wiki it states it is best to use a real NTSC US console rather than a modded Pal console due to timing differences in the hardware.

      Well, US Genesis consoles aren’t so easy to find in the UK right now. Just wondering if Japanese imports modded to English language would work as well with the OSSC as a US console?

        Japanese Imports are real NTSC consoles, so yes, they will have the correct refresh rate. Just cut the trace at JP2 and you will have an English NTSC Console. Also the cartridge slot is different, so you have to grind the edges.

        But please look on us ebay before doing that. You can find really cheap Genesis consoles and many of them ship to Europe, thanks to the ebay global shipping program.
