Even though I can’t share profiles, I thought I’d share a few settings that I like to use. All use an output res of 2560×1440 and work great in hiding the PAL borders if this bothers you

      SMS

      V-Sync = Gen Lock

      LLPLL Gain = 1

      H. Sampling Preset = SNES/PCE 256 with a H (Interp) Size of +7 pix

      V. Size = 20% with a V Position of -29

      NES/SNES

      V-Sync = Frame Lock

      Sampling Preset = SNES/PCE 256

      V. Size = +20% with V Position at -25

      Mega Drive

      V-Sync = Frame Lock

      Sampling Preset = Gen/Sat 320

      V. Size = +20% with V Position at -29 (while most games will leave a slight border at the top and bottom, any games that use 240 res will fill the height exactly)

I didn’t list H Position as I believe they will be different for each person which is also why I left out the cropping settings but I do crop the left and right to remove any blank border there.

V Size of +20% will also benefit PAL games on N64/PS1 or PS2 that don’t have their resolution optimized. For recommended settings for those systems, Wobbling Pixels on YouTube has videos on settings for those systems. Honestly, I can never decide if I like the vertical stretch or the original size

      Hope this is useful

Thanks for the tips, users may find that increasing V-size breaks post processing filters and the like so some experimentation may be required.

Ah yes. These settings are best used if not using post processing filters but work great if you wish to fill the screen in 1440p (and you’re like me and don’t wish to convert a PAL gaming setup to NTSC).

I should mention that 1080p OVER mode will hide the borders as well, these settings are more intended for the 1440p modes.

Pardon the double post but there is a change.

For SMS, I now recommend +20% on V-Size so that the image isn’t too skinny. In generic mode, H-Size can be adjusted freely. In optimized mode, adjusting H-Size will distrupt the scaling
