Hi there,
Just bought a new Sony KD-43XH8505 tv. Have tested for lag with Time Sleuth in 1080p mode, and have found that when screen set to fill the screen, lag is around 11ms, but when using original aspect ratio it somehow results in 25ms of lag.
However, when using my Sega Mega Drive with OSSC, using original aspect ration is the only available option.
Obviously I wouldn’t want to stretch the image, but thought I might change Horizontal Active to 1920, hoping the tv would then offer the screen fill mode as well, without actually having to stretch the image. Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work.
So, since the tv sees the Time Sleuth incoming signal as something different than the OSSC incoming signal (“1080HD” vs “1920×1080/60Hz”), I’m wondering if there would be any setting in OSSC I can tweak to make the tv handle it exactly as it handles the Time Sleuth image, effectively decreasing lag with 14ms.
Thank you.
