Trouble getting 1080p output with audio

SRRAE.I got a recently got a OSSC with the audio upgrade and it’s fantastic but I need some advice getting something working.
I have a DVI to HDMI cable which is doing wonders, but I’m struggling to get a 1080P resolution for my PAL Mega Drive.
When I use x5 line double, the TV reports 1080P but the blacks are showing as green. If I change the output format from DVI to HDMI, the screen shows perfectly find but then there is no audio.
Any help will be grateful.
