      Hi,

I’m working on a v1.8 PCB. I programmed the FPGA and flash memory without issue, and the LCD shows the expected information when it’s turned on. It also seems to detect signal correctly, as my RGB-modded N64 is being detected on AV1.

The issue is that no HDMI output is being detected, either on my television (which works with another working OSSC) or on one of my LCD computer monitors.

I thought it could be the IT6613E (U3) and had some extras, so I replaced it but still have the same issue. I checked the solder joints on all ICs with a microscope, and don’t see any bridges or other problems there. The voltage regulators all seem to be working.

Based on another thread, the next thing I will do is check the signals on U3 (PCLK, HSYNC, VSYNC, DE). Are there other suggestions for things to try?

      Thanks!

If those signals and voltages are OK, then your issue is on IT6613E or between it and HDMI connector.

I checked the components on the back of the board since I think I was focusing too much on the IC pins. Found a ferrite bead where one side wasn’t soldered properly, reflowed that and the surrounding components for good measure, and now it’s working perfectly. Thank you marqs.
