      <p style=”text-align: left;”>Hello,</p>
Just received my ossc pro, and I’m unable to update it.

New micro SD card formated fat32

      Downloaded fw v0.78

      Renamed it to ossc_pro.bin

      Dropped it to card

Ossc pro gives error message -2 when I click update. Any advice? Thanks

Is it able to save / load profiles on the card?

So, I tried a 3rd SD card and different card reader for update same error -2.

Tried to load and save profiles, able to save profiles to SD card but get error message -3 when try to load. Do profiles have to be name changed to something same as update file?

There is no need to rename profile files, but did you actually check prof and settings files were generated on the SD card after saving? Once a profile is saved, the menu should also display the slot as <used> instead of <empty>.

Yes slots showed used. Also yesterday got around to actually testing with consoles. And ran into an issue. Have a strange green artifacting threw out whole screen with in any aspect ratio choose also tried changing scaler to multiplier no difference. Tried 2 different Genesis consoles tried using retrogamingcables YPbPr cables and also dream cast with ypbpr cables also green artifacting. Tried using OEM composite cables for all 3 consoles green artifacting even worse. But when I tried running Genesis threw rad2x and into ossc pro threw HDMI no green artifacting. (I don’t know if it’s okay to run rad2x threw ossc pro but just trying to figure out what’s wrong.)

Sounds like a defective board has somehow avoided being caught in testing (both SD update and AV2 check are in test plan). Please request a replacement from the seller.
