I just bought MNEMO’s USB-GDROM and I have read that sometimes the power supply can overheat.

I heard about PicoPSU is one option. I heard about modding the stock PSU’s resistor and I heard about modding the casing to allow better airflow.

Is there anyone who owns a USB-GDROM and has played a game for hours without having any problems? If so, what method did you use?

Well I left mine on for a good couple hours unmodded and it didn’t die, though it did get very hot and I do intend to try the PicoPSU option and offer it as a service if it works well.

Definitely let me know how that works out for you if you decide to do it. I just want to play everything safely.

I’ve just ordered a couple of those PicoPSUs, one for Dreamcast one for Saturn, I’ll let you know when I get them.
