Vertical artifacts in VGA text mode

root42.I am running a Trident TVGA 8900 on my OSSC 1.6 with 0.81 firmware. In VGA text mode I get vertical stripes:
Is this solely due to the VGA card? Can I remedy this a bit via OSSC settings? Any other ideas?
