As the title implies my modded 1-Chip SNES seems to have trouble keeping sync with my VGA monitor in anything above 2x on 256×240 optim mode. If I go to 4x mode (1280×960) the monitor loses sync immediately. However, if I change it to Generic 4:3 it stops and has capture but then the aspect ratio is wonky. The real kicker is at 4x mode with 256×240 optim, I don’t lose capture on my elgato HD60 Pro (I have the capture on my OBS) and the light stays green on my OSSC. Any idea why it’s having trouble? I know there’s that de-jitter issue, but I’m not sure if it’s what’s causing it since I have a stable sync on my capture and OSSC. Since it’s being initially fed a 1280×960 signal it shouldn’t have any issues since I have no problems doing 4x with my PS1 or 2x with my Wii at the same resolutions. Thoughts on this?
Not sure if it matters but here’s my connection chain.
