I’ve noticed during a few fast games that some sprites temporarily display some sort of video artifacting when moving rapidly. Is there a chance this is down to the OSSC (with however it’s line-doubling and digitising), or more likely to do with bad cables?
Wondering if anyone else has noticed similar. I’ve definitely seen it on my Sega Genesis on the Micro Machines games with scanlines enabled (6%) but with the analog sync LPF setting to 2.5MHz (heavy filtering).
I need to return to my SNES, which worked without altering any sync LPF settings, but reasonably sure I spotted it on that console too (I think again with a Micro Machines title).
