      Hello,

Today I got the McBazel OSSC in the mail and I hooked it up. It was working great, messed around with some of the sampling and scanline options. I realized I should update the firmware and found a video tutorial for it. I followed the steps found here, update worked fine and the ossc was still working just fine. However, I realized that the link to the firmware update in the video was old, so I did the process again but with the 1.09 version and now it will not produce the signal for my playstation 2. It goes to the grey scale check just fine though, so I reset to default settings, but I can’t seem to get any signal from my console.

I’m using the AV1 scart cable, YPbPr was working perfectly until I got 1.09, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also it says NO SYNC on the LCD, I don’t think it said that before.

      Thanks in advance!

I figured it out, in case anyone in the future has the problem I did:

The thing I got was hardware version 1.6, but firmware v1.xx can’t run on anything lower than 1.7, so moving down to firmware 0.9 was the solution.

That’s not true. You need to do a hardware mod on those boards, per this post:
