      Hi

By comparison between my CRT and my LCD (with OSSC) I noticed that the video seems “slower”, less reactive.
I don’t talk about the input lag which is also visible. This topic isn’t for blaming OSSC (I’m very happy with this product), the problem probably comes my LCD.

I just want to understand the technical problem. Why does it look less reactive ? Are there less images on LCD ?
It’s really noticeable when James Bond punches or when he moves left/right quickly.

PS: I play on N64 PAL

      Thank you!

Perhaps you mean response time, the time it takes for a pixel to change? Some LCDs have slower response time than others.

Is input lag = response time ? Yes there also a noticable input lag. But the other effect I see is not input lag.
I did a video for Youtube but I’m not allowed to publish it here.
I wrote the end of the link in my 1st message: watch?v=Vqsk0osl6sw

Does it look slower on LCD because the screen is bigger (optical illusion) ?

No, input lag and response time aren’t the same, they are two different issues.

Ok I watched a video and I understand what the difference is, now.
