      Hi!
Like the title says… My old LG only accepts passthrough… all 2x modes show a lot of jittering except for my Mega Drive which is weird. I guess my tv is really picky with resolutions and Hz.
But to be honest I think the passthrough looks great anyway. Does the passthrough double lines? digitize the signal? or is it just like sending the RGB signal right in the back of my EU Scart port on the back of the tv? (yes I´m in Europe).
      Thanks!!! 😀

Passthrough simply digitises the signal, no line doubling or anything else is performed.

Typically if your HDTV even accepts this mode, it will mean higher input lag due to deinterlacing, combing artefacts etc.

So yeah, pretty much like just plugging the SCART in really.

Have you tried DVI output mode to get rid of the jitter?

Are scanlines enabled in passthrough if set to manual?

Are scanlines even relevant in passthrough mode? At that point, it’s not just inserting black lines, it’s destroying image data.
