Will it work for this problem with my Sega Master System ?

Hello,

I’ve received my HD Retrovision cable this week plus the adapter cable, for connecting it with my Sega Master System.
I thought I was getting the best quality with this cable, from what I saw online.
But the picture I’m getting isn’t at all what I saw other users have, when looking online videos…

So I was wondering if an OSSC could give me the quality I am looking for ?

This is what I get now :

If I buy the OSSC, will this fix the picture quality I’m getting now ?

OSSC will clean up the bad scaling, but the jailbars will probably need a hardware modification.

If you’re using an OSSC, I’d just use RGB SCART. I don’t have a Model 1 Master System, but I’ve used a Master System Converter adapter with my Mega Drive. Originally I used a cheap SCART cable that I found on ebay, it gave me some weird jail bar artifacts. I swapped it out with a SCART cable that I bought from retrogamingcables.co.uk – jail bars gone, no mod required.

Here’s some recordings I did. First with the cheap ebay cable, second with the retrogamingcables Csync cable.
