I attempted a mod on my OSSC 1.6 to run firmware 1.0, but I made a mistake by lifting the trace to pin 25 of the TVP7002PZP. The schematic shows that this pin is not connected, so the mod seemed successful initially. However, now the OSSC won’t sync. When I switch to the active input, I lose the signal, and the LCD shows 60Hz at first, then scrambles with random numbers and letters. I thought maybe I lifted pin 24 or its trace, but after inspecting both the pin and trace, they seem fine. I’m not a pro, so I could be mistaken, but I’m wondering if I accidentally bridged pins 24 and 25. If that’s the issue, how much damage could that have caused? Would I need to replace one or both ICs, or is it possible to bypass the issue with jumper wires?
