“1600/1920×1200 is a better choice if supported by the display.”
Thanks marqs. That’s the key– my TV is one of several that only supports up to 1080p input signals, so feeding it 1920×1200 is out of the question for me. Good to hear it’s in the works– will provide a lot of value for folks like myself. 🙂
Just wanted to report that I finally got my OSSC working on my Panasonic. Curiously, if I connect the OSSC directly to one of the HDMI inputs on my TV as described above, I get no picture. But if I run the OSSC first through a cheap passive HDMI selector switch, it works perfectly. Strange– maybe the switch “cleans up” the signal coming from the OSSC in some way? I can’t explain, but I can’t complain. 🙂
Just tested it against my SC512N1-L capture card, and I get the same results as on my Panny– no signal. Don’t know if that’s useful info but figured I’d relay it anyway.
Hi marqs, I checked my unit with no display connected– F2 is fine (no measurable resistance across it), pin 18 is carrying a solid 5V, and pin 15 is high.
Yep– tried three different HDMI cables all known to work with other 1080p sources. No dice. 🙁
