Thank you for the update.
I downloaded this file for GPIO 1.
File size is smaller than before (3.5MB vs 4MB).
N64 PAL input, scaler mode, 1920×1440 output.
Nothing changed, settings keeped, working as usual.
I have a PAL FRA N64 with “official” RGB mod (missing CMS components soldered under the mainboard).
The problem may not come from the RGB mod but the PAL GameCube RGB cable I am using, which include some capacitors.
After trying all the settings, the best PQ I have obtained is with Scaler mode and “SL sharp” algorithm (resolution 1920×1440).
I think the picture is better than all the other scaling algorithms with post processing scan line enabled.
Thank you again for your help!
Thank you very much for your reply.
I tried the LM Pure/adaptative and Scaler, all of them are unstable.
I have done some testing, it seems that setting “Analog sync Vth” to 60mV (default:120) resolve the sync issue, so far Super Mario 64 is stable 🙂
Maybe I will do the soldering if it can improve the stability even further.
Do you have any advices to get more accurate colors? I lowered the settings “R/G/B gains” to 200 (default:324) but maybe it can be better.
Thank you, it works!
Now I can use my N64 PAL RGB moded on my LG BX OLED TV 🙂
I just tried Mario, but it seems to be unstable : TV seems to resync randomly, some time I completely lost the signal and need to reboot everything.
I saw the PAL profiles for OSSC, can you load them on the DExx?
Great news, thank you for your reply.
Maybe you can also make use of the SDRAM for existing or new features?
