This is not PAL. I’m in the US and it’s my PS2 that’s NTSC 60Hz. I posted in the thread though because I am having the identical color issues as the OP. Sorry for any confusion.
Component = bad colors
S-vid/composite = good colors /lower quality
Yeah,I tried them all. With the component setting I was getting the off colors. With the s-vid and composite I was getting black and white. And again, the component colors are correct when skipping RT2X and connecting directly. Also tried all 3 of the output modes with no effect on color.
Seems like it’s an issue with the RT2X handling component input since connecting with composite/s-vid has correct colors (but lower picture quality).
My bad, accidentally said composite when I meant component. I have edited the post to be correct. Thanks for the catch.
Interestingly, I am having the exact same color issues (essentially red turns green) on my PS2 (NTSC 60Hz) when hooked up via *component (HD Retrovision cables).
The colors are fine when RT2X is bypassed. Also it’s fine when I connect to RT2X via *composite. I can upload some pics if it helps.
Any ideas??
